Reason

As I do my study I am lead by the words Jesus says in Isaiah 1:18 "Come now, let us reason together," The definition of reason is a cause, explanation, or justification for an action or event, the power of the mind to think, understand, and form judgments by a process of logic, or think, understand, and form judgments by a process of logic. To do this without Jesus terrifies me. We need fact and I am a fact person, but some times to factual. I tend to weed out out the rational of reason. Is there more to learn about reason in the word of God?
